Meet Our Clinical Supervisor In Fort Worth

Cheryl Dielman, LPC‑S LCSW‑S in Fort Worth, clinical supervisor offering IFS & EFT supervision for therapists and interns

Cheryl Dielman
LCSW-S, LPC-S

Approved LPC/LCSW Supervisor · Approved IFS Clinical Consultant · Certified Eating Disorder Specialist–Supervisor

Supervision is one of the most meaningful parts of my career. After decades of working with individuals, couples, and families through complex trauma, attachment injuries, and eating disorders, I’ve shifted my focus toward helping develop the next generation of thoughtful, effective therapists.

I am an Approved Supervisor for both LPC and LCSW clinicians, an Approved IFS Clinical Consultant for the IFS Institute, and a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist–Supervisor. These roles reflect the heart of my current mission: to give back by offering grounded, relational, evidence-informed supervision that helps clinicians truly grow.

My clinical foundation includes extensive training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), trauma-responsive care, and integrative approaches to healing. Just as in therapy, I believe supervision should strengthen the therapist’s clarity, confidence, and presence, not just teach techniques.

Supervisees working with me can expect:

  • Steady mentorship rooted in real-world experience
  • Clear guidance with space for honest conversations
  • A focus on ethical, relational, and experiential skill
  • Support that is both compassionate and direct
  • Accountability that promotes true professional growth

I aim to create a supervision relationship where therapists feel supported, respected, and challenged in the best way, so they can offer the kind of care that creates real, lasting change for their clients.

If you’re looking for supervision that blends warmth, depth, and strong clinical grounding, I’d be honored to walk alongside you in your development.

We are currently seeking interns & practicum students, LPC-A, LMFT-A, LCSW-A, and LP-A who are interested in expanding their clinical expertise through training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Contact us to apply.

Our Approach

How Clinical Supervision Works at Designed for Connection Counseling Center

1. Connect and explore fit

It starts with a conversation. In your initial consultation, we’ll discuss your goals, interests, and hopes for supervision while giving you a feel for our approach and process.

2. Grow through ongoing supervision

Weekly or biweekly sessions offer space to reflect, get feedback, and grow. We’ll explore cases, ethics, and treatment planning while helping you strengthen your voice and confidence as a therapist.

3. Develop confidence and competence

Over time, you’ll gain clarity, skill, and assurance in your work. By the end of supervision, you’ll feel equipped to handle complex cases with confidence and compassion.

Our clinical supervision balances practical skill-building with deep clinical reflection to help you become the confident therapist you want to be. Together, we’ll create a supportive environment that nurtures both your professional confidence and your clinical skill.
